The project with mokhdesign was about creating a website and digital design portfolio to showcase her logo design, branding and graphic projects. It was important to have a simple, but clean web design with a focus on her recent work. New clients should not only be able to browse mokhdesign’s current projects, but also easily contact her to discuss their own projects.

I decided to go with one of my favourites and actually one of the OG’s in the Game – WordPress. The reason I chose the CMS WordPress was that I wanted the client’s work to be not only the spotlight of the website, but also easy to extend with new projects and easy to be handled by the client.

Digital Logo Design Portfolio

One of the main reasons I like using WordPress is the usability aspect – it’s easy for the client to add new portfolio items, simple to use and handle, and perfect for sharing content. Above all, search engine optimization (SEO) is very enhanced and effective with WordPress. The client also has always the option to extend the current website with a webshop based on WooCommerce – this is always a plus, especially for clients working in the graphic design industry.

Another important aspect was to link each page with a contact form to make it as easy as possible for potential clients to contact mokhdesign. When you have potential clients on your website, the last thing you want is to lose an opportunity to work with them because they have difficulties contacting you. That’s why I opted for a simple contact form with the most important input fields to speed up the “get in touch” process.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience working with mokhdesign and I am glad to have delivered a website that not only met, but exceeded expectations.
